This work is a smaller iteration of my previous series, inspired from my time walking in the Wissahickon Valley in Philadelphia, PA. I think of these as sorbet - a break to think about where I'm going next. These pieces are very small, but exist on their own, independently. They are also studies for larger work. They are a fusion of three dimensional drawing and painting, constructed from pieces of formed watercolor paper, painted with watercolor and acrylic paint, and then assembled. They continue my work from the past few years, which has all been three dimensional, non-representational, and hangs on the wall.
